Much like buying a diamond, material is judged for colour, content, clarity and consistency — and for how the vein will book-match. You will only find stone of exceptional quality in our yards: generally a nine or a ten on the international scale.

Exclusive relationships at the source
From the Carrara mountains to Brazilian quartzite pits and Portuguese pink, we buy at the quarry. That means large, consistent lots — and first look at the newest material nature presents.

A transparent process
Mirror-polished, reinforced and ready to inspect. Every slab is seen and approved before it leaves for site, so there are no surprises in a dream project.
Since the 1990s
A short history
The house began beside the Carrara basin — Italian plant, Italian stone, a bet that architects would want the block chosen at the pit, not from a catalogue. They did.
Milano followed: a climate-controlled gallery in Brera under natural light, then the five rooms of Casa Venatura. Gemstone cabinets and exotic galleries came later, as clients asked for stones that had never been shown here before.
Today the yard holds material from more than thirty countries. The method has not changed: go to the pit, buy the block, finish it properly, show it in person.
